Ballard's Bowling Academy Pro Shop is owned by two of the most recognizable names in the Professional Bowling World. Del Ballard Jr. and Carolyn Dorin-Ballard are both Hall of Fame bowlers with more than 35 Professional Tour titles combined. Over the span of her career, CDB has earned 20 PWBA titles and 2 PBA Women Series titles, a 2-time player of the year as well as a 3-time collegiate all-american at West Texas State University (now West Texas A&M). Carolyn is currently a Regional sales representative for the Turbo Grips company as well as a member of the Roto Grip, Dexter and Logo Infusion national tour staffs. No stranger to tour titles himself, Del racked up 13 National PBA titles in a span of 6 years. Included in that were 4 major titles. Del is a member of both the PBA and USBC Halls of Fame. Currently the Director of Competitive Bowling for the Storm Bowling Company, Del is out touring the World with the top players from both the Storm and Roto Grip brands and assisting them with Equipment selections, Lane Play and Coaching.
Day to Day operations are handled by location manager Sohn Dupree. With 4- 300 games and 2- 800 series to his name and a career high 225 league average, Sohn is a star player in his own right. With more than 10 years of Pro Shop experience Sohn is no stranger to helping others achieve their bowling goals, whether it be a new player looking for their first ball or the experienced player looking to expand their arsenal, Sohn is the best in the business!
